About Me...

I am an East Coast native who found her way to the West Coast a few times.  I moved across the country 3 times in 4 years.  10+ years ago, I decided to stay put in Southern California and I'm loving every minute of it.  I would like to say I'm a children/family entertainment marketing professional by day and paper junkie by night... but in reality, I love paper at all hours of the day!  I love anything to do with paper and parties.  In fact, I throw parties just so I can brainstorm party favors and what kind of personalized "tag" I plan to create for the favor.  Some may say that's an expensive excuse to make a party favor.  But, alas, I enjoy every minute of it.

This all started a few years back when I decided to throw a "Decorate my Christmas Tree" party.  Consider it crowdsourcing before crowdsourcing became popular.  I figured, I'm new to LA and I love the smell of fresh evergreen trees during Christmas... so I decided that I would invite some friends over and ask them to bring an ornament that says something about themselves or something about me.  The guests were so creative!  I received handmade gifts, packs of bubblegum strung to some twine (I love gum), pictures from former childhood, college and business school days, East Coast items, all-things Mickey and SpongeBob (did I mention I worked in kids entertainment) and some of the most gorgeous, inspiring Christmas ornaments one could find.  The tree was a living (well, almost living) display of the friendships I've made in LA.  I vowed to throw a "Decorate My Christmas Tree" party every year... but in the end, it seems to be happening every four years... like presidential elections, the World Cup and the Summer Olympic Games.

I digress... back to PAPER.  So... paper crafting is my creative escape.  I am always on the lookout for new crafting tools, techniques, and just fun paper and stationery trends in general.  I'll be blogging about cool finds and products... and I'll incorporate them into my designs along the way.

Thanks for reading and would love your feedback!
